The Digital Innovation Team was established to investigate New Tools And Emerging Tech. Created in March 2020 with the goal of rapid prototyping of digital products, the Innovation Team is working to build innovative solutions to reach new audiences, improve the current experience or create revenue opportunities within PBS and member stations nationwide.

Through agile software development and human centered design methods, we explore how new technologies like 5G, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), interactive and social video, and mobile edge computing (MEC) can enable new ways to engage PBS viewers.
